Grand Park to play host to suburban, outdoor living fall home show

Do you see home renovations and upgrades in your future? Suburban Indy Shows will be hosting the Suburban Indy Home & Outdoor Living Fall Show in September right in the Grand Park neighborhood. The Suburban Indy Home & Outdoor Living Fall Show will take place Friday through Sunday, Sept. 20-22, at the Grand Park Event Center, 19000 Grand Park Blvd., Westfield. The event will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Fall is the perfect time of year for planting, transplanting, landscape, remodeling, and designing and building projects. This show is intended to connect Suburban Indy homeowners with local businesses to discuss your landscape, home improvement and home building needs.

This year Dr. Lori, an antiques appraiser, will be welcomed back to the Suburban Indy Home & Outdoor Living Fall Show. She will offer guests a free appraisal on one antique item per show, per person. Dr. Lori will appear on the show stage on Friday and Saturday only with showtimes at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. each day. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to ensure they get a free appraisal.

The Home and Outdoor Living Fall Show provides something for everyone, including a Kid’s Day on Sunday, Sept. 22. New this year on Kids’ Day will be DinoROAR, an educational and interactive feature that will showcase fossils, facts and life-like dinosaur puppets and animatronics. Kids can get their picture taken with a T-Rex at the end of the show. Kids’ Day also features song and dance performances from famous princesses, followed with a meet and greet, plus magic shows, inflatables, glitter tattoos and more. DinoROAR performances are at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., while the princesses take the stage at noon and 2 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to sample or purchase local food, shop local artists, purchase décor from local garden centers and explore what’s “on trend” for the upcoming seasons.

Cost to attend is $10 at the door, or $5 if you purchase your ticket online. Kids age 12 and under attend for free. The Hamilton County Humane Society will receive 10 percent of ticket sales revenue.
