Girls golf: Greyhounds win dual meet with Millers

Two of the state’s top 20 girls golf teams played at Prairie View Golf Club on Wednesday.
Fourth-ranked Carmel hosted No. 14 Noblesville, and the Greyhounds won the dual meet 158-190. Carmel’s Katie Kuc was the meet medalist with a 36, while Ava Hedrick was next in line by scoring 39. Other scores for the ‘Hounds were Ava Nguyen 41, Sydney Longstreth 42, Elizabeth Hedrick 45 and Averie Reiter 47.
Caroline Whallon led the Millers with a 46. Ellie Karst, Sarah Brenneman and Bella Deibel all carded 48s, while Taylor Caldwell and Mia Sommervold both had 51s.

Fishers won a dual meet with Cathedral 180-203 on Wednesday.
Caitlyn Kim led the Tigers with a 42, followed by Kaitlyn Brunnemer with a 43. Other Fishers scores were Lilly McVay 46, Kaelyn Tai 49 and Kristi Lilek 56.
