The Hamilton Southeastern girls basketball team won a Tuesday road game at Pendleton Heights 66-57.
The Arabians led 15-12 after one quarter, but the Class 4A No. 3 Royals used a strong defensive second period to move ahead 28-22 by halftime. Southeastern added another 22 points in the third quarter to take a 50-40 lead.
Maya Makalusky hit four 3-pointers on her way to 24 points. Kayla Stidham scored 15 points and Kennedy Holman reached double-double status with 12 points and 10 assists. Addison Van Hoesen led the rebounds with seven, followed by Stidham with six, Makalusky and Holman with five each and Antonette Green with four. Holman and Makalusky each made four steals.
The Royals are 9-1 overall and host Avon Friday in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
