The Guerin Catholic boys golf team opened its season by winning the Seymour Owl Invitational on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles, last year’s state runner-up, scored a 300 for the team victory. Guerin Catholic also had the top three individuals: Connor McNeely was the medalist by scoring a 71, Leo Wessel placed second with a 73 and Jacob Modleski took third with a 74. Zach Thieme rounded out the Golden Eagles scoring with an 82.
