In preparation for flu season, Franciscan Health is will offer a drive-thru flu shot clinic at its Carmel facility.
The clinic will be open from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30 at Franciscan Health Carmel, 12188-B N. Meridian St., underneath the awning in front of the hospital.
Patients aged 6 months and older can receive the flu vaccinations. Patients aged 5 years and older can receive the COVID (Pfizer) vaccine. Available vaccines include COVID as eligible, shingles, pneumonia, and flu, with high-dose, egg-free, flu mist, and quadrivalent options.
Those attending the drive-thru clinics are asked to dress appropriately to receive their vaccine, bring their insurance card and be prepared to complete paperwork. Those with no insurance or self-pay will be charged $40 by cash, check, or debit card. If requesting the COVID vaccine, bring proof of vaccination. Other charges could apply.
