Fishers thanking heroes, dedicating Gold Star monument Monday morning

Join the City of Fishers to honor the service men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom at a special ceremony from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, May 31 in front of Fishers City Hall, 1 Municipal Drive.

During this ceremony, the city will also dedicate the new Gold Star Families Memorial Monument on Central Green.

Gold Star Families are highly encouraged to register in advance so they can appropriately be honored. Masks are recommended for individuals who are unvaccinated. Learn more at fishers.in.us/FishersHonors.

Honor a Local Hero

The City of Fishers recognizes local heroes through the light pole banner program, which honors veterans and active duty servicemembers with banners on display around the Nickel Plate District.

You can also recognize your patriotic loved one’s selfless sacrifices for our country by purchasing an engraved brick paver, which will be placed in the Liberty Plaza walkway. Learn more and meet our local heroes at fishers.in.us/FishersHonors.
