Fishers graduate Evelynn Reilly receives prestigious P.E.O. STAR Scholarship

Evelynn Reilly, a 2021 graduate of Fishers High School, has been selected to receive a $2,500 STAR Scholarship from the P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) Sisterhood. She was recommended by P.E.O. Chapter AB of Fort Wayne.

Reilly graduated with an Academic Honors Diploma and participated in a variety of extracurricular activities. She was a mentor to high school underclassmen, a Cadet Teacher in her senior year, and played on the Varsity Lacrosse team. She has also been a small group leader for her church and has taken academic and activity leadership roles in Christian camps and clubs. Currently, she serves in the Children’s Ministry at Pennington Park Church.

Reilly will attend Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Ariz., where she will major in elementary education. She was recognized by the P.E.O. Sisterhood for her excellence in academics, leadership, extracurricular activities, community service and potential for future success.

The STAR Scholarship was established in 2009 to provide scholarships for exceptional high school senior women to attend an accredited postsecondary institution in the next academic year.
