Fishers Century Club continues expanding its charitable efforts

Guys crowd-giving group to meet March 26

The Fishers Century Club will hold its next meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26 at The Club / Knowledge Services building on Crosspoint Boulevard in the recreation room.

At the start of the meeting, the Youth Mentoring Initiative (YMI) will briefly speak about its use of the funds received from the December meeting.

YMI was selected as the winning charity for the December meeting, where Matt Kegley, Board Chair of YMI, spoke passionately about the organization’s mission to engage Hamilton Southeastern School students through positive relationships with caring adult mentors.

“We are honored to have Youth Mentoring Initiative share their impactful work with us,” said Anthony Head from the Fishers Century Club. “The club is excited to hear about the impact of our donation on their program. We are also calling all guys in the community to attend and bring a charity of their choice to pitch!”

The Fishers Century Club raised $3,300 at its December meeting and members hope to continue to grow and surpass that at the March 26 gathering.

The meeting will also include three randomly selected charitable organization pitches from club attendees. For more information and a list of previous winners, please visit fisherscenturyclub.com. To participate in the crowd-giving group online, visit the Fishers Century  Club’s Grapevine site.
