Dee Dee Sorvino, actress, comedian, author & public servant to put on comedy show at Hotel Carmichael

Native Hoosier Dee Dee Sorvino will return to her home state this month to perform a comedy show at Feinstein’s Supper Club at the Hotel Carmichael in Carmel.

Dee Dee Sorvino is an Emmy award-winning television and radio personality who has appeared on numerous national and international radio and television programs, including Comedy Central, Fox News Channel, Fox Business Channel, RT, Al Jazeera, WOR-AM in New York City, BBC, CBS Mornings, The Talk, The Patriot Channel, and AM The Answer.

After being on TV, making movies and jet setting with her late husband, beloved actor Paul Sorvino, let’s welcome Dee Dee home to sold-out crowds. The comedy show will run for two nights: Friday, Jan. 20 and Saturday, Jan. 21. Click on the date to buy tickets for that show.

Drinks with Dee Dee Sorvino: A night of comedy, cocktails and chords will begin at 7:30 p.m. each night, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.

Sorvino won an Emmy as host of international talk show, Fresh Outlook on EBRU TV. She was awarded Best Talk Show Host in Indianapolis by NUVO for her work on the news magazine, Six-Thirty PM.

Sorvino was featured in the award-winning documentary Electoral Dysfunction starring Mo Rocca and received positive reviews from the LA Times, Variety and Hollywood Reporter. The producers chose a Republican and a Democrat from each political convention to follow. They said Sorvino was “the most interesting person at the Republican Convention by far.” The producers cast her right away.

Sorvino has done standup comedy, most recently at the well-known supper club “Vitellos” (now Feinstein’s) and the Comedy Union in Los Angeles where Kevin Hart and Chris Tucker have performed. The Hollywood Reporter named it one of the six best comedy clubs in the country.

Sorvino has given numerous speeches for various groups and events and been host for various events. She always keeps it fun and entertaining.

She has starred in theater productions in Indianapolis. She starred in the musical Gypsy in the role of Gypsy Rose Lee. She also starred in the musical Showboat as Julie, and Anne in A Little Night Music.

Sorvino is the author of the bestselling book Pinot, Pasta, and Parties with her late husband, actor Paul Sorvino, most famous for his role as mob boss Paul Cicero in Goodfellas, as well as around 200 acting credits. They have been featured on numerous media outlets together like The Talk on CBS and on Forbes. They have also done many book events throughout the country.

She worked on the George W. Bush campaign and in his administration as a special assistant. She also was elected to the Republican National Committee for the state of Indiana and was Chairman of the Young Republican National Federation. The Honorable Dee Dee Sorvino also served as an elected official on the Versailles Town Council. She’s worked in government both at the highest level and in local government, the level closest to the people.

Sorvino has a bachelor’s degree in history from Hanover College, the alma mater of former Indiana Congressman, Governor, and Vice President Mike Pence, as well as award-winning actor Woody Harrelson. She is currently working towards her master’s in dramatic arts from Harvard Extension school.
