Death by Chocolate comes to Carmel

Death by Chocolate is a delectable fundraiser that supports Cherish in their efforts to address and prevent child abuse in the community. The event will take place from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16 at the Indiana Design Center in Carmel. VIP admission begins at 7 p.m. prior to the main event.

Patrons will enjoy chocolate samples from local restaurants and businesses at the beautiful Indiana Design Center in downtown Carmel. The event will also include live entertainment, bar service, an art auction featuring local artists, wine pull, raffle prizes and for VIP ticket holders, complimentary champagne and hors d’oeuvres. This is a sweet evening that you do not want to miss.

Individual tickets for general admission to Death by Chocolate are $30. However, grab a few friends and make a night of it, as tickets are $25 each if you buy four or more. Cherish, founded in 2009, is a 501(c)3 Child Advocacy Center (CAC) that works to prevent child abuse in Hamilton County. As the only Nationally Accredited CAC in the county, they assist with the investigative process in child abuse and neglect cases. All of their staff are trained child forensic interviewers, and they also provide prevention services including psychoeducational groups (RESPECT) on healthy relationships and safe dates, trauma therapy and community education.
