David Gerald Wooldridge, 59, Lebanon, passed away on April 2, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 13, 1961 in Rush County, Ind., to Stephen and Kathryn Wooldridge.
David was a graduate of Westfield High School, Class of 1979. He went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Airforce. He retired as a Tech Sergeant in 2004. While he was stationed in England, he met Miriam Jacquline Rachel (Keniry) Wooldridge and the two of them were married on September 24, 1987 in Gloucestershire, England, and they have been at each other’s side for 33 years. David also knew the importance of an education. He received his master’s degree at Faulkner University in Montgomery, Ala., and he also attended the Le Cordon Bleu Chef School in England and received his chef certification. David enjoyed woodworking and he was Master Craftsmen carpenter in England.
When David returned to Indiana, he became a member at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
David will be greatly missed by his loving family, his wife of 33 years, Miriam; and their son, Devon Wooldridge. He was a proud grandfather to Beau Scott Wooldridge. He was a loving son to Stephen and Kathryn (Lee) Wooldridge and brother to Stephen (Jodi) Wooldridge and Jennifer (Greg) Homola; and an uncle to several nieces and nephews. Preceding David in death were his grandparents, Marion Ray and Roberta Steffey; and grandmother, Mary Stout.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Road, Westfield, IN 46060.
