Creekside 8th-grade football team wins undefeated county championship

The Creekside Middle School eighth-grade football team won the Hamilton County eighth-grade middle school championship on Tuesday night. The Creekside team beat Westfield Middle School 49-14, finishing its season with an undefeated 9-0 record. This is the first time in school history that a Crekside team has won a county championship and completed an unbeaten season. Creekside outscored its opponents 338-78 during the season.
Players on the team are: Anthony Coellner, Parker Stewart, Daniel Reffeitt, Cam Kelley, Kane Hare, Jacob Behm, Greysen George, David Charters, Levell Stewart, Aaron Fedorccha, Parker Maiers, William Hohlt, Ben Spence, Mike Galli, Lucas Rydell, Caden Teetzel, Ben Stranko , Omar Abushanab, Gurkamal Sahota, JT Todd and Chase Jarred. The team’s head coach is Nick Blomeke. Assistant coaches are Shelby Goldblatt, Chad Coellner and Brandi Meyers.
