Cops climb onto Dunkin’ rooftops for Special Olympics Indiana

Nearly 50 law enforcement agencies from across Indiana will partner with Special Olympics Indiana and Dunkin’ stores on Friday, May 15, for Cop on a Rooftop.

Local departments participating include:

  • Carmel Police Department, which will be at the Dunkin’ at 1305 S Range Line Road
  • Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, which will be at the Dunkin’ at 2560 E. 146th, Carmel
  • Westfield Police Department, which will be at the Dunkin’ at 950 Tournament Trail

Visitors to participating Dunkin’ stores can donate money and learn more about their local Special Olympics Indiana program. Police and safety officers will be stationed in, around, and on top of the stores between 5 a.m. and noon to help support and raise awareness for the 20,000 Hoosier athletes who train and compete for free within Special Olympics.

Individuals who donate to Cop on a Rooftop receive a coupon for a free donut. Those who donate $10 or more receive a coupon for a free medium hot coffee.

To date, Cop on a Rooftop events have raised more than $125,000 for Special Olympics Indiana.
