For the fifth consecutive year, Zionsville’s Robert Goodman Jewelers will hold a public Menorah Lighting ceremony. The event takes place at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17 in front of the shop, 106 N. Main St., in the heart of Zionsville Village.
Rabbi Dovid Grossbaum of Chabad Center for Jewish Life-Lubavitch of Indiana will lead the lighting ceremony in celebration of Hanukkah, the “Festival of Lights.” The Chabad Center for Jewish Life-Lubavitch of Indiana is providing the Menorah for the lighting event again this year, and it will be on site for the entirety of Hanukkah (which ends at sundown on Dec. 22).
“Menorah lightings are embraced by members of the Jewish community around the world,” said Rose-Marie Goodman, co-owner of Robert Goodman Jewelers. “We are so happy to host this event here in Zionsville for the fifth time, and in keeping with our long-held philosophy of unity, we invite everyone – and we mean everyone – from the Zionsville area and beyond to join us for this celebration on Dec. 17!”
