On Oct. 28, Jared Seaman, owner of Christian Brothers Automotive in Fishers and Eagle Township (Boone County), provided 85 free oil changes to pre-selected families within the wider community.

Seaman also partnered with local nonprofit Good Samaritan Network to further help community members in need of these services by providing fun activities for families to partake in as they waited for their services to be complete. In total, 200 people were serviced throughout the day.

Event offerings included a bounce house, face painting, a mobile petting zoo, and a trunk-or-treat. The location also served breakfast, lunch, and snacks to community members as they enjoyed a fun-filled day getting much needed auto services – at no expense.

Christian Brothers’ National Day of Service was originally created by a franchisee in Austin, Texas, in 2005 as a meaningful way to contribute to the community through a dedicated service day. Fast forward a decade, and National Service Day has evolved into a pivotal aspect of the brand, celebrated annually.
