Cheryl Darlene Cooper, 79, Atlanta, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Riverview Health in Noblesville. She was born on January 13, 1947, to Russell and Verna (Pratt) Cuddy in Hazard, Ky.
Darlene worked as a beautician and was a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed crafts, quilting, and traveling. Darlene was an avid gardener who loved collecting clothes.
She is survived by her husband, Earnest Eugene Cooper; daughters, Susan Cooper, Kim (Dickie) Small, and Lori (Steven) Millares; grandchildren, Ryan Byrd, Bethany Elliott, Kelsey (Brandon) Cline, Nicholas Small, Joshua Millares, and Robby (Jessica) Nilson; and her great-grandchildren, Maison Thomas, Paisley Cline, Jaiylah Small, Emery Cline, Raye Millares, Brooks Nilson, and Iris Small.
In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Lindsay Small; brother, Bruce Cuddy; and her sister, Peggy Day.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services at 1 p.m., on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
