Dear Editor:

Voters have power. Every election challenges us to think about the direction we want for our communities, our state, our nation.

The Democrats running in Hamilton County display a commitment to connecting with voters as they listen to our concerns in order to seek solutions. They are involved in community service. An example of this is when Devon Wellington, candidate for Indiana House District 29, went into immediate action coordinating with other Democrats to collect funds and supplies for families impacted by the recent floods.

Democrats have been writing postcards, making phone calls, and knocking on doors – always focused on building connections with voters. We are concerned about the cost of living as we watch the super wealthy accumulate an unimaginable amount of money. We want every child in our state to have a quality education rooted in school safety, excellent teachers, quality resources, and community support. We want access to affordable quality health care. We need fairness, we need greater balance in government, we need candidates who want to serve. We need Democrats to help balance the political power in Indiana.

Vote for the best candidates – candidates who will truly represent us and keep us informed.
