The City of Carmel, Carmel Clay Public Library (CCPL), and the Carmel Redevelopment Commission (CRC) welcomed artist Jason Klimoski to the city for the unveiling of “Taking Flight,” located in the roundabout at Main Street and Richland Avenue.

“Today marks a truly special moment as we gather to unveil our newest roundabout sculpture,” Mayor Sue Finkam said. “This artwork represents far more than its striking visual impact; it showcases these prominent educational landmarks while creating a stunning entrance to our Arts & Design District. Every time residents and visitors pass through this roundabout, they’ll be reminded that Carmel is a place where we encourage all our residents and visitors to be inspired and to let their dreams take flight.”
