The Carmel High School Planetarium Club invites you to come explore the life cycle of stars in the Milky Way Galaxy. Carmel senior Jackson Moffett will lead the presentation, sharing a story about star formation and stellar lifetimes of various stars in the galaxy. He will also share his experiences learning to research stars and nebulae guided by astronomy professionals.
Along the journey, you will be dazzled by images take from observatories of the dep space objects connected to the show. Please consider attending this year’s student-led Planetarium Show for an afternoon of excited, wonder, and science.
The presentation will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 10 in the Carmel High School Planetarium and will last approximately 45 minutes. Click here for tickets. This presentation is suitable for audiences age 8 and above.
Enter through the main entrance of the school on Main Street, come in Door No. 1 South, walk past the Dale Graham Auditorium, and turn right. Doors will open 30 minutes before show time. No one will be admitted after the program begins. Children aged 12 years and younger should be accompanied by an adult.
