Carmel invites kids with special needs to Sensory Skate Nights

Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, or any type of special need and their family members are welcome to take part in Sensory Skate Nights in Carmel.

An annual tradition at The Ice at Carter Green (sponsored by Allied Solutions), the City of Carmel and the Carmel Advisory Committee on Disability will open the ice for a special, sensory-friendly skate session. Walkers and wheelchairs are allowed on the ice during this time. There is no charge to skate.

The first Sensory Skate Night will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. this Tuesday, Jan. 23. The second night is set for Sunday, Feb. 25 at the same time.
