The Carmel boys golf team finished second at the Metropolitan Conference meet, which took place Monday at Wood Wind Golf Course.
The Greyhounds carded a team score of 286, behind only Center Grove’s 274. Senior Sam Booth and junior Owen Sander both had season-low scores of one under par 70, tying for fourth place. Senior Shoji Fujita carded a 72, tying him for eighth place. All three were named to the All-MIC team.
Freshman Kent Fujita scored a 74 and sophomore Joe Armfield carded a 75.
Carmel will play Saturday at the State Preview tournament at Prairie View.
