Carmel beats LC, moves to 2-0

Carmel’s boys improved to 2-0 on the season Friday, Dec. 5 with a 70-62 win at Lawrence Central.

The Greyhounds got off to a solid start, leading 19-12 after the first quarter. The other three periods were closer, but Carmel was able to maintain its advantage for the remainder of the game, leading 37-32 at halftime and 55-48 after three periods.

Three Greyhounds reached double digits, starting with Cash Daniels. He scored 18 points, made all 10 of his free throws, collected eight rebounds and dished out eight assists.

Evan Harrell contributed 15 points and nine rebounds. Ben Bremer added 12 points, while Aiden Dickerson pulled 10 rebounds.

Carmel hosts Noblesville on Friday.
