Caring Transitions to sponsor Carmel International Arts Festival in unique, useful way

The Carmel International Arts Festival (CIAF) announces the addition of Caring Transitions as a bronze level sponsor. Caring Transitions will staff all the trash and recycling needs of the festival. The festival will take place Sept. 25 and 26 in The Arts and Design District in Carmel.

Caring Transitions is headquartered within the Carmel Arts and Design District and assists individuals and families with downsizing, estate sales, moving and other related needs. Their headquarters are in the Indiana Design Center building, 200 S. Range Line Road, Suite 129. Brianna Smith is the director of operations.

Caring Transitions’ stated goal is that, regardless of the situation, planned or unexpected, the loss of a loved one or the need to relocate someone can be challenging. The organization offers a streamlined support system to help facilitate a less stressful transition so families are better able to handle this type of situation.

Caring Transitions helps in ways like sorting through years of memories, working with estate planners, coordinating movers and real estate agents to designing a functional and comfortable floor plan, or serving as advocates for a family. The amount of service Caring Transitions provides is designed to fit each family’s needs.

Being a sponsor for the upcoming event is a great way to interact with the community as well as highlight the services the sponsor provides.

“We really appreciate Caring Transitions sponsoring our event. It is important to come together as a community in supporting the arts and supporting local families in need,” said CIAF Operations Director Gary Frey. “It’s extremely helpful that they are willing to staff the trash and recycling stations. This just makes the festival that much more enjoyable for those who come out to enjoy the arts.”

CIAF is a major festival in Carmel that has attracted 98 amazingly talented artists from around the United States. These artists have disciplines in jewelry, wood, ceramics, fiber, glass, 2D art, 3D art, photography and painting. Festival-goers enjoy an admission-free opportunity to view and purchase art, mingle with artists, tour local galleries, dine at fine restaurants in the area, and enjoy the Festival’s entertainment on multiple stages.

On Saturday, Sept. 25, festival hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sunday, Sept. 26, the festival hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
