This week, Governor Mike Braun announced the state of Indiana will hold a one-stop shop for three days in Hamilton County to bring disaster recovery resources directly to victims of August’s flood.

The event will take place in the Bicentennial Building at the 4-H Fairgrounds, 2003 Pleasant St., Noblesville, at these dates and times:

  • Thursday, Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 9 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Hoosiers, if you or your family was impacted by August’s devastating storms, be sure you apply for federal assistance before FEMA’s October 25 deadline,” Gov. Braun said. “I have directed resources like the one-stop shops, mobile registration intake centers and pop-up shops to be made available in impacted communities, ensuring all needs of Hoosiers recovering from these storms are met.”

Representatives from both FEMA and the Small Business Administration will be one hand.

Bring a valid state ID if you have one. Transportation services may be available in certain communities. Individuals should contact 211 by calling (866) 211-9966 to get assistance with transportation needs.

To date, more than 5,000 storm impacted Hoosiers have visited in-person sites for assistance, and nearly $120 million from FEMA has been disbursed to 28,935 applicants. The deadline to apply for FEMA’s Individual Assistance is Oct. 25.

The one-stop shops bring representatives from multiple agencies together to a single location to provide information on available resources and assist Hoosiers in navigating the recovery process. Several services, including the ones listed below, may be completed on-site, helping residents get the support they need more efficiently.
