Incumbent Daniel Bragg has officially announced his candidacy for re-election to an at-large seat on the Sheridan Town Council, citing a commitment to responsible, controlled growth, community engagement, and responsible leadership.
Bragg, who currently serves as an at-large representative, said his decision to seek another term is rooted in his desire to build on the progress made during his time in office.
“Sheridan is a special place with a strong sense of community,” Bragg said. “I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together, and I’m excited about the opportunity to keep working for the taxpayers of my home.”
During his tenure, Bragg has been involved in initiatives to improve local infrastructure, support economic development, and enhance public services. Notably, he pointed to the successful reorganization of Sheridan and Adams Township in 2024 as a major milestone that has helped streamline services, improve efficiency, and better position the community for future growth.
He emphasized collaboration with fellow council members, town staff, and residents as a key factor in addressing community needs.
Looking ahead, Bragg outlined several priorities for his next term, including maintaining fiscal responsibility, supporting local businesses, and ensuring that Sheridan remains a safe and welcoming place for families. He also highlighted the importance of listening to residents and encouraging public input in decision-making processes.
“I believe in transparent and accessible leadership,” Bragg said. “It’s important that every voice in our community is heard and valued.”
Bragg’s campaign will focus on connecting with voters across Sheridan, sharing his vision for the town’s future, and fostering a strong sense of community unity.
