The Guerin Catholic boys lacrosse team clinched the Circle City Conference championship with an 18-1 win over Brebeuf Jesuit on Tuesday.

Stats from the game were unavailable at press time and will appear in a later edition. The Golden Eagles finished conference play undefeated.

In an earlier game, Guerin Catholic fell to Culver Academies 15-5 on Saturday, May 9. Gavin Soucie scored three goals, while Chris Giedd and Ethan Lehtinen both scored one.

The Golden Eagles finished the regular season 9-7.

Carmel plays at Culver Academies tonight as it tries to finish an undefeated regular season against Indiana teams.

The Greyhounds added to their record on Friday, May 8 by beating Cathedral 17-7 at Brian Murray Stadium. Luke Shrift scored five goals, while EB Warren put in four goals. Lincoln O’Leary and Ike Stitle both scored two goals, with Max McCord, Henry Dvorak, Evan Bardwell and Cohen Odle each adding one.

Carmel is 14-1; the Greyhounds’ only loss is to Cincinnati St. Xavier.

Westfield played at Culver Academies on Friday, May 8, falling 21-2.

Daniel Sherman and Finnigan Smyth both scored one goal for the Shamrocks, who finish their regular season tonight at Center Grove. Westfield is 9-7.

Noblesville took on Center Grove Friday, May 8 and won 13-7.

Hayden McCaslin put in seven goals for the Millers. Charlie Boe added three goals, William Kelsey scored twice and Harrison Boe had one goal.

Noblesville is 6-9 and hosts Cathedral tonight to finish the regular season.

Hamilton Southeastern picked up two wins over the weekend, first beating Zionsville 11-10 in overtime on Friday, May 8.

Kyle Jenkins led the Royals with four goals. Sam Brandenburg, Henry Wans and Cohen O’Grady all scored two goals and Ben Speckman added one goal.

Southeastern traveled to Mason (Ohio) on Saturday, May 9 and won 12-8. Brandenburg led that game with three goals, followed by two goals each from Carson Berry, Speckman and Wans. Nate Cooper, O’Grady and Marcus Laux all made one goal.

The Royals are 12-7 and host Brother Rice (Mich.) tonight to finish regular-season play.
