The Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville (BGCN) offers two unique summer programs for youth. Children must be a member to participate in either program and both begin June 3 and end July 26.
Club Daybreak is a daily summer program located at 1700 Conner St., Noblesville. Members will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of themed weekly activities ranging from guests presenters like Hedgehog Hannah, field trips to Conner Prairie, and activities like a mobile gaming truck. Participants will have access to the playground, greenspace, computer lab, library, gym, Gamesroom and art room. Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. is free with membership; there is a $9 charge for the morning session of 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and a $9 charge for the afternoon session of 3 to 6 p.m.
During summer break, the Teen Center will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; there is no extra charge for teen members. New this year, teens will have the chance to take part in two interactive summer camps during the weeks of June 17, with Survivor-themed activities, and July 22, with gaming-themed activities, which will consist of hands-on field trips and activities.
Camp Crosser is a high-energy, outdoor summer program designed to provide children ages 6 to 12 with adventurous and educational experiences. Youth will participate in age-appropriate activities including swimming, canoeing, fishing, arts and crafts, environmental education, hiking, campfire cooking, plus much more. Participants also have the opportunity to sleep out under the stars on the Thursday night camp outs. The camp’s zip lines will offer an exciting and unique experience as campers soar across the White River. Registration fees are $115 per week long session with eight sessions available. Space is limited.
