The Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville’s youth basketball league, for boys and girls in grades K-8 , is right around the corner. Practices will begin the week of Dec. 2, with games beginning the week of Jan. 6. Registration is now open and will last until Nov. 15, with player evaluations being held the same day at the Community Center for Grades 3-8.
New this year, a special registration day will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Community Center. An open gym session will be offered to all prospective youth league players interested in registering. Gift cards, with values as much as $100, will also be raffled off throughout the event to those signing up.
The league will consist of an eight-game regular season, plus playoffs, with the season culminating at our annual Basketball Spectacular on March 14 at Noblesville High School. All championship games for each age group with play on this day, along with an awards ceremony including all age groups. Each participant will receive a reversible jersey and a pair of shorts at the beginning of the season, sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings’ ALL-STARS initiative.
“Every year, hundreds of kids grow throughout the season with hopes to make it to the championship game at our Basketball Spectacular,” said Tony Eslamirad, BGCN Sports Director. “The memories that are made and the life lessons that are learned are still talked about today among those who played decades ago.”
The registration fee per individual is $60 plus a current Club membership (memberships are $55 per school year). All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville.
