Republican Bill Gutrich has filed to run for Indiana State Representative in District 24. He is a corporate executive leader and small business owner with a profound commitment to his community.

Gutrich is driven by a vision to serve the 24th District as a representative who brings a business-focused, results-driven approach to public office. His extensive experience in corporate leadership equips him with the skills necessary to navigate complex legislative issues, drive economic growth, and promote a business-friendly environment in the district.

“As your state representative, I will first and foremost serve,” Gutrich said. “I have been fortunate to gain broad experiences and perspectives through my upbringing, career, and raising a family in Hamilton County, and I will work hard to accurately represent the true voice of Indiana’s fastest growing area. I will work to assure that we continue to be one of the best places in the country to live, raise a family, start a business, or build a career.”

Gutrich will focus his campaign on the themes of: Fiscal Responsibility and Lower Taxes, Excellence in Education and Parent Empowerment, Smart Development, and Public Safety.

“I believe in a limited, fiscally responsible, and citizen responsive state government, applying smart budgeting principles to keep taxation low,” he said. “The legislature should be truly empowered only by the people and working only for the people of Indiana.”

Gutrich said his overarching goal is to be the voice of the people, not just a legislator making decisions on their behalf. He recognizes the importance of understanding the district’s needs. His vision aligns with the district’s values, emphasizing affordability, strong schools, and the preservation of great Midwest values.

“I believe deeply with humility, as Indiana House Representative for the 24th District, I will be entrusted to cast ‘your’ vote, not ‘my’ vote,” Gutrich said. “We have much to reflect proudly on in our communities that comprise the 24th District, yet so much more to do. I believe our future is incredibly bright. I will work with all my ability to assure Indiana’s 24th District remains the very best for future generations to come.”

With a strong business background in leading major partnerships for industry giants like Coca-Cola and Samsung, and extensive experience in agriculture, having served with Indiana-based industry leader Elanco, Gutrich is well-prepared to represent the 24th District.

Gutrich and his wife, Janet, moved to Hamilton County in 1996 to pursue their careers and raise their three children, Eric, Emily, and Alexander. He also plays an active role in his community as HOA President for the Woodshire Neighborhood in Westfield, and as a former board member of the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana.

Indiana State Representative District 24 includes Westfield, Sheridan, and portions of west Carmel and eastern Boone County.
