Two Hamilton County baseball teams will play for semi-state championships on Saturday.
Class 3A Guerin Catholic travels to Ruxer Field in Jasper to play for the south semi-state title. The Golden Eagles take on Providence in the first game, which starts at 1 p.m.
Gibson Southern and Cathedral will play in the second semifinal game, which is scheduled for 2 p.m. The semifinal winners face off for the championship at 8 p.m.
Class 2A University will head to Lawrence Central for that division’s south semi-state. The Trailblazers play Evansville Mater Dei in the first semifinal, which begins at 11 a.m.
Heritage Christian and Sullivan will face off in the second semifinal, which is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. The winners play for the championship at 8 p.m.
