Barber needed at county jail

The Hamilton County Jail is like a small town behind walls. Much of what happens outside must also occur inside the jail: Meals, laundry, health care, education and more. For those incarcerated for longer periods, this even includes haircuts.

The jail is currently in need of a barber to provide basic services for inmates. Haircuts are offered one day each week, usually beginning around 7 p.m. Inmates are charged $12 for a haircut plus an additional charge if a beard or mustache trim is provided. Only basic barber services are done.

Interested applicants should contact Lt. Sean Bauer at (317) 776-8229 for more information.
