Applications open for $1,500 Ken Nunn Memorial Scholarship

The Ken Nunn Law Office has opened its second round of entries for the semi-annual Ken Nunn Memorial Scholarship. One student will be awarded $1,500 to use toward tuition, books, supplies, or other educational expenses.

Applications are open how and close at 11:59 p.m. Dec. 6.

Now in its sixth campaign since 2024, applicants will respond to the prompt: “If you could change just one event in world history, which would you choose to change? Why?” Students are encouraged to explore the impacts of pivotal historical events and explain the changes they would make and how those changes would change history.

Students interested in applying should review the full eligibility rules and submission requirements, and then apply at kennunn.com/ken-nunn-scholarship.

A winner will be announced on Dec. 18.

“Education is the doorway to opportunity,” Ken Nunn said. “It’s important to me to help young people succeed in life.”

Eligibility requirements

  • Students must have been accepted into (and plan to attend) a two- or four-year university in Indiana.
  • Students must be Indiana residents.
  • Students must hold a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • Students must submit a 500- to 750-word essay.
  • Students must submit their application by 11:59 p.m. Dec. 6.

Employees of The Ken Nunn Law Office and their relatives are not eligible to participate.
