Annette Marie Mayhew

January 19, 1942 – March 20, 2023

Annette Marie Mayhew, 81, Westfield, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023, at Copper Trace in Westfield. She was born on January 19, 1942, to O.L. and Barbara (Welty) Cooper in Warren, Ohio.

Annie worked as an X-ray tech for over 20 years and owned a clothing boutique, Annies of Logansport. She lived the majority of her life in Logansport and moved to Westfield in 2015. Annie loved to travel, especially to Europe. She was very proud of her grandchildren; grandson, Myles is currently serving active duty in the U.S. Navy, and she was looking forward to grandson, Benjamin, joining the Navy as well.

Annie was a devout Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel where she volunteered at the food pantry. She enjoyed going to the American Legion, loved her card group girls, loved to cook, and enjoyed a good glass of wine. Annie was very opinionated and had her own way of loving people.

She is survived by her daughters, Mechelle (Rob) Hillman and Mellissa (Steve) Boggs; stepdaughter, Kenan (Dorian) Mayhew; grandchildren, Myles (Lili) Hillman, Benjamin Hillman, Cagney Chentnik, and Paige Kiefaber; great-grandchild, Link Reagan; as well as several nieces & nephews and great-nieces & great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Mayhew, a U.S. Marine; son, Matthew Chentnik; and her sister, Cathleen Rynerson.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., with services at 7 p.m., on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville.
