American Structurepoint Chief Executive Officer Rick Conner has earned a spot on the IBJ Media’s 2026 Indiana 250 list, marking his second consecutive year among the state’s most influential and impactful business and community leaders.

IBJ Media selects the Indiana 250 list to highlight leaders across business, philanthropy, the arts, government, and more. Executives, editors, and newsroom staff from Indianapolis Business Journal, Inside INdiana Business, and Indiana Lawyer compile the list through nominations, independent research, and ongoing conversations with community leaders throughout the state.

“I’m honored to be included among the influential leaders on the 2026 Indiana 250 list,” Conner said. “This recognition reflects the dedication and excellence the entire American Structurepoint team, past and present, has delivered for nearly 60 years. Our work continues to positively impact the clients and communities we serve.”

Conner began his career with American Structurepoint as the 12th employee, delivering blueprints part-time. After graduating from Purdue University, he joined the firm full-time in 1976, became president in 1990, and stepped into the CEO role in 2024. The firm has grown from a small, Indiana-based company into a nationally recognized architecture and engineering consulting firm with more than 800 employees spanning 11 disciplines at 18 design centers across the country.
