Alice Allen

December 9, 1948 – May 28, 2021

Alice Allen, 72, Noblesville, entered Heaven’s gate early Friday morning, May 28, 2021 at home in Alexandria. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family.

She was born on December 9, 1948 to Fred Joe and Phoebe (Wann) Rigsby in Noblesville.

Alice’s third great-grandfather Wann built his log cabin in 1826 in Riverwood, which is still standing. Her faith was as strong as that cabin. “Rock of Ages” and Psalm 23 were cornerstones to her faith.

Alice was a graduate of Jackson Central High School. As a talented artist, she could have attended Herron Art School Indianapolis on full scholarship, but she followed her heart and married Kenny Allen of Otway, Ohio, whom she met at the Indiana State Fair.

Alice is survived by her four married children, Lisa, Lonnie, Kenny, and HeatherJean; along with eight grandchildren, Austin, Ethan, AdriaJean, Aidan, Jenna, Phoebe, Leah, and Lydia.

In addition to her grandparents and parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Allen; brothers, James and Bill Rigsby; and sister, Mary Roe.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
