Deborah “Debby” Elliott, formerly of Westfield, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2023, in her Wauseon, Ohio, home with family by her side. Debby was born on October 7, 1952, in Noblesville.
Debby was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Hilda (Gerard) Moon; brother, Kenneth Moon; husband, Lee Elliott; and previous husbands, Bill Newman and Teddy Flynn.
She is lovingly remembered by brothers, Marty (Beth) Moon and Michael (Maureen) Moon; sister, Malinda (Robert) Mohler; bonus daughter, Lori (Stan) Williams; nephew, Armand (Debbi) Moon; nieces, Kiya (Chris Gilbert) Moon, Lindsay (Kyle) Sutherland, and Chelsea (Mike) Walters; step-niece, Lana (Mike) Nicholls; and multiple great-nieces and great-nephews.
Debby was a 10-year 4-H member in Hamilton County and graduated from Westfield Washington High School in 1970. She retired from Heavy Duty Trucking in 2022. She was a lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association, member of the National Barrel Horse Association and the Indiana Girls Barrel Racing Association and was a board member of the Indiana Barrel Futurity. Debby had a lifelong passion for her horses and was an accomplished barrel racer. She had a big heart and treasured her many dear friends who all meant so much to her.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m., with services at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Burial will be at Eagletown Cemetery in Westfield.
