The Hamilton Southeastern boys golf team was a close runner-up to Bloomington South last Saturday at the Jasper Invitational, which took place at Sultan’s Run Golf Club.
The Royals carded a 305, just behind Bloomington South’s 304. Other team scores were Evansville North 313, Jasper 316, Silver Creek 323, Castle 328 and Bishop Chatard 337.
Cole Starnes and Kai Warner both carded 75s, while Mattingly Upchurch scored a 76. Other Southeastern scores were Nate Benson 79 and Lane Zedrick 82.
