Countdown: T-minus 1 year to eclipse

Today marks one year until a Total Solar Eclipse is visible in Hamilton County. The sky will begin to change at approximately 1:50 p.m. on April 8, 2024, with totality at 3:06 p.m. EDT.

Plans are underway throughout the county for this historic natural phenomenon. Hamilton County Tourism has coordinated the formation of a local organizing committee with representatives that include Eclipse experts, schools, public safety, libraries, major attractions, parks, viewing locations, arts organizations, city public relations officials, and more.
