Veterans get discount for Carmel Symphony’s ‘Masterworks 2’ show

The Carmel Symphony Orchestra (CSO) will honor U.S. military veterans and current active-duty military personnel with a special invitation to the Masterworks 2 performance this Saturday, Nov. 12.

Call the Palladium’s Fifth Third Bank Box Office at (317) 843-3800, note your military status, and you’ll receive a 50 percent discount on your ticket purchase. No special code is necessary – just plan to show your official ID when you pick up your tickets at the box office. It’s CSO’s way of expressing a sincere thank you for your service and sacrifices.

By the way – did you know that CSO Executive Director Cara Pittenger is a U.S. Army veteran? She served for six years with the 38th Infantry Division Band.

Among selections on Saturday’s Masterworks 2 program are the Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1, Colas Breugnon Overture by Kabalevsky, the Rimsky-Korsakov Capriccio Espagnol, Op. 34, and the glorious Pines of Rome, the tone poem for orchestra by Respighi, written as a tribute to various scenes in and around Italy’s beloved capital.

This will truly be an evening of music you will not want to miss. Order your tickets now at CarmelSymphony.org.
