Join Beck’s for the third annual 5K run/walk on Saturday, June 11, Beck’s Hybrids, 6767 E. 276th St., Atlanta. The 5K is designed to promote health and wellness among Beck’s employees and their families, customers, dealers, and the community.
This is a great opportunity for you to get out and get moving while connecting with the local community and raising money for a great cause. Stick around for the post-race party including vendor booths and a food truck.
Beck’s is proud to announce that this year’s event will raise funds to support Team Rubicon. Team Rubicon serves communities by mobilizing veterans to continue their service, leveraging their skills and experience to help people prepare, respond, and recover from disasters and humanitarian crises. Beck’s will continue to partner with Changing Footprints to hold a shoe drive collecting previously worn or new shoes for distribution to homeless, disaster-stricken, and underprivileged individuals within the local community. Changing Footprints has partnered with multiple organizations in Hamilton County (such as Third Phase homeless shelter, Good Samaritan Network, Hamilton Heights, Cinderella Story, etc.) to provide nearly 10,000 pairs of shoes to individuals in need. Help support the Hamilton County community by bringing shoes – in any condition – to be donated at packet pickup or on race day.
Packet pickup will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 10 at the Beck’s Research Building on the north side of 276th St.
Race day registration and packet pickup will be available from 6:30 to 7:15 a.m. on Saturday, June 11.
