TODAY: Carmel honors sacrifices of our veterans

The City of Carmel will honor and remember those who paid the ultimate price in service to our country this morning at 9 a.m. at the Carmel Clay Veterans Memorial Plaza, 800 3rd Ave. SW, across from the Center for the Performing Arts. The Memorial Day Ceremony is free and open to the public.

Join Carmel City Councilor Jeff Worrell, American Legion Post 155, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10003, keynote speaker Dennis Wimer, Director of the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs and a variety of musical performances.

The rain location will be the Tarkington Theater at The Center for The Performing Arts, 3 Carter Green.

The City of Carmel’s annual Memorial Day Ceremony is a special event to honor the sacrifices of all the brave military personnel who have served and thank them for all they have given us.
