Frances Rita Gordon, 85, Cicero, passed away on May 14, 2022, at Five Star Assisted Living in Noblesville.
She was born on November 29, 1937, in Chicago, Ill., to Joseph and Josephine (Boncowski) Dziadzio.
Frances Married Lewis Alexander Gordon, III on June 4, 1959, and she began her new role as wife and homemaker. She also worked for several years at Marshall Fields as Assistance Manager of their restaurant. She and her husband loved to travel, and her family said they “traveled the world,” so to speak.
She also enjoyed getting together with her family.
Frances was a longtime faithful member of Saint Thomas More Catholic Church in Elgin, Ill.
Surviving her is a daughter, Pam Gordon of Tavares, Fla.; and a son, Robert (Laurie) Gordon of Cicero; grandchildren, Rob, Andrea, Alicia, Zachary, D.J., and Maddy; and great-grandchildren, Samuel, Hadley, Molly, and Ava.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Richard Gordon.
