Huskies softball falls to Wildcats

The Hamilton Heights softball team dropped a 19-6, five-inning home game to Lawrence North on Friday.
The Wildcats scored 10 runs in the first inning. The Huskies got on the board in the third inning when Bella Neiling batted in Jessa Steffen.
Heights put up five runs in the fourth inning. Lily Roush doubled in Morgan Ottinger and Faith Hittle. Steffen scored her second run of the game on a passed ball, then Roush and Kaylee Rhoton got home when Ashlyn Fletcher reached on error.
Roush pitched four innings, striking out five.
Heights finished its regular season 9-14 and plays Yorktown Tuesday in the first round of the Delta sectional.
