HSE softball gets high-scoring victory

The Hamilton Southeastern softball team picked up a high-scoring win over Ben Davis Thursday, scoring two runs in the bottom of the sixth to get a 15-14 victory.
The Royals tied the game when Jenna Chase drew a bases-loaded walk, scoring Maddie Bucher. During the next at-bat, Payton Fox was hit by a pitch, which sent Lani Wyrick home.
Chase drove in four runs, including a fourth-inning home run, while Fox and Bucher both scored three runs. Tessa Sexauer hit a three-run triple, also in the fourth.
Tori Donato struck out seven for the win. Southeastern is 14-10 and finishes the regular season this evening at Yorktown.
