Lester Earl Harden

December 28, 1939 – April 7, 2022

Lester Earl Harden, 82, Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on December 28, 1939, to Hubert and Bernece (Jackson) Harden in Rossville, Ill.

Les worked in retail sales for many years, working at Farm Bureau Co-Op, U-Haul, and Wickes Lumber to name a few. He was a charter member of White River Christian Church and was their first Sunday School Superintendent. Les loved going to Canada to fish, volunteering at WRCC food pantry, going to Jim Dandy’s with friends, and playing cards. He was known for keeping people laughing, telling jokes and stories, and having a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janet Harden; children, Rich (Kim) Harden, Randy Harden, Rodney (Jami) Harden, and Kim (Jimmy) Bradley; siblings, Rex (Joyce), Ken (Carol), Blayne (Paula), Annis Kirts, Larry, Linda Masengale, and Ben Larick; grandchildren, Richard (Trista), Brian, Kaylee (Joel), Riley, Jacob (Jill), McKenzie (Nick), and Marisa; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Ron, Leta, and Lila.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2022, at White River Christian Church, 1685 N. 10th St., Noblesville, with Pastor Fred Knoll officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at White River Christian Church, 1685 N. 10th St., Noblesville. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
