Casting for roles of Jane and Michael Banks
Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre is looking to cast the young performer roles in its upcoming production of Disney’s Mary Poppins.
Roles to be cast are:
- Jane Banks (female, look age 11-13) – The high-spirited daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Banks is bright and precocious but can be willful and inclined to snobbishness. Vocal range: A3 to F#5
- Michael Banks (male, look age 8-11) – The cute and cheeky son of Mr. and Mrs. Banks. Excitable and naughty, he adores his father and tries to be like him. Both he and Jane misbehave in order to get the attention of their parents. Vocal Range: A3 to E5.
Children must be able to sing and move well. Rehearsals begin week of May 2, with performances May 19 through July 10.
