Sheridan dropped a hard-fought game to Western Boone on Saturday, 61-53 at Larry Hobbs Hall.
The Blackhawks led 14-4 after the first quarter. The Stars came back in the second period before Sheridan held a 26-24 halftime advantage. But WeBo would take over in the second half and go on to the eight-point win.
Evan Grinstead scored 19 points for the ‘Hawks, while Caleb Wright contributed 14 points. Ethan Moistner had eight points, Tyler Garner scored five, Nathan Hinshaw added four and David Will scored three.
Sheridan is 4-17 and plays its regular-season finale Friday at Frankton.
