Westfield cruised to a road win at Decatur Central Saturday night, 65-48.
The Shamrocks jumped out to a 16-9 lead after the first quarter, then led 27-20 at halftime. Alex Romack scored seven points during the first half. Westfield edged its lead up to 44-36 after three quarters, then ran away with the fourth period by scoring 21 points. Cam Haffner hit three 3-pointers during the quarter.
Romack scored 12 points in the second half, and led the ‘Rocks with 19 points. Haffner finished the game with 17 points, including five 3s.
Westfield is 17-6 and hosts Lewis Cass on Thursday in its regular-season finale.
