Sam Lupear, 76, Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. He was born on June 20, 1945 to George and Claudean (Warren) Lupear in Indianapolis.
Sam proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a Captain and Missile Launch Officer/Intelligence Officer. He graduated from Ball State University and worked in sales for over 30 years and later in life for CSC at Lucas Oil Stadium. Sam was a proud member of Lakeview Wesleyan Church and the American Legion. He was an avid fan of all Indianapolis sports including the Colts, Pacers, and Indy 500. Sam loved all animals and nature, especially his dogs, and volunteered for the Humane Society. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.
Sam is survived by his daughter, Roberta “Bobbi” (Todd) Sanders; son, Anthony “Tony” Smith; grandchildren, Austin Tyler Sanders, Colin Michael Sanders, Jacob Dylan Smith, and Heidi Pearl Smith; sister, Georgia Clifford; niece, Shawn Johnston; nephew, Johnny Crone; numerous extended family; and his beloved dog, Louie.
In addition to his parents, Sam was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Darlene Lupear, in 2019.
Services will be held at noon, with visitation beginning at 11 a.m., on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Lakeview Wesleyan Church, 396 Park St., Noblesville, with Dr. Richard Schenck and Rev. Carol Schenck officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
