The League of Women Voters of Hamilton County invites residents to find ways to be informed voters through the use of non-partisan websites. LWV will hold a forum at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 17 at the Noblesville Branch of the Hamilton East Public Library.

The evening’s main speaker will be Bill Moreau, co-founder and president of the Indiana Citizen Education Foundation, Inc. – operating online as The Indiana Citizen – a non-partisan, non-profit platform dedicated to increasing the number of informed, engaged Hoosier voters. Moreau has been a newspaper reporter, college instructor, public servant and lawyer.

The League’s own website, Vote411.org, will also be presented. The League of Women Voters has fought since 1920 to improve U.S. systems of government and impact public policies through education and advocacy. Strictly non-partisan, the League neither supports nor opposes candidates for office at any level of government.
